Concerts at Oak Branch are free to the public. If you would like to make a donation to support our performers or HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians), any donation is sincerely appreciated and can be made at the performance or visiting the HAAM website.

Sophia Gilmson presents a unique All-Rameau program. Sophia plays each original work on harpsichord followed by playing Godowsky’s transcription of the same works on the piano. The performance will be about an hour long without intermission and will include some introductory words for each selection.

Patti and Rick will perform a concert honoring Beethoven's birthday on December 16. Patti will perform his beloved "Pathètique" Sonata in c minor, Op. 13. Rick will play Mozart's Fantasy and Sonata in c minor, K. 475 and 457. These two sonatas share deep motivic and aesthetic affinities and should be interesting to hear together.

Will has been asked to step into another major quartet in need of a second violinist for the weekend. We are glad Will can help them out, but it means we will postpone this recital at Oak Branch. We will find a date to reschedule the concert, most likely next fall.

Women’s work, as the saying goes, is never done. It’s one of those truths that is universally acknowledged! Join Chaski for our presentation of Women’s Work, a concert highlighting the creative work of women composers, writers, scientists, and artists. We’ll be celebrating Chaski’s 40th anniversary as well as the 250th birthday anniversaries of author Jane Austen and harpist/composer Sophia Dussek. There is no charge for admission. Matt and Rick will perform transcriptions for clarinet and piano of two great works: Mozart's Sonata in A Major for Violin and Piano, K. 526 and selections from Samuel Barber's iconic "Hermit Songs", originally for voice and piano. Mark Bernat will bring a wonderful program of works for Double Bass and Piano. The concert will include Henry Eccles' Sonata in g minor, the Sonata by Paul Hindemith, Niccolò Paganini's "Moses Fantasy" and Fritz Kreisler's wonderful "Liebesleid". This will be the first appearance of a double bass at Oak Branch!
